Originally I was going to make this mix as a throw back to a mix tape (literally) that a friend (DJ Taurean) & I made back in 2001. Instead it's turned into a monthly affair focusing mostly on Dubstep. I wanted to start with a darker vibe (using tunes like Side 9000 - The Cure & Chimpo - Cryptonite) but still show off the mellower side of dubstep aswell (the likes of Telepopmusik - Smile (Kojak remix), Gravious - Temple Ball & Scuba - Dream). The final tune, TRG's Your Friends Like Techno, starts out like a typical Dubstep tune with some half time beats but quickly turns it all around and smashes into a full on 4x4 techno finale.
